China Southern Power Grid State grid company of China, which is engaged in the construction, maintenance and transportation of electricity in the five southern provinces of China. Operates one of the largest and most complex power systems in the world. It serves a population of over 230 million people and has an installed generation capacity of 160 GW (as of 2010) with a peak load of 105 GW.
